BD BIOSCIENCES

BD Biosciences is a provider of products and services for researchers and laboratorians around the world, offering integrated solutions for supporting life sciences and for accelerating the pace of discovery. BD Diagnostics is a newly formed segment comprised of two major product areas-Preanalytical Systems and Diagnostic Systems – that were created to provide system solutions to clinical laboratories’ most pressing problems. This approach enables BD Clinical Laboratory Solutions to benefit from its well-established presence in the laboratory and to leverage the recognized brand equity of its products, including the Vacutainer^TM line of evacuated specimen collection products; the BACTEC^TM line of automated blood culture insturments; DNA probes through BDProbeTec^TM ET; and Difco^TM industrial microbiology.

BD MEDICAL

BD Medical holds leadership positions in hypodermic needles and syringes, infusion therapy devices, insulin injection systems, and prefillable drug delivery systems for pharmaceutical companies. It offers the industry’s broadest, deepest line of safety-engineered sharps products, as well as surgical and regional anaesthesia, ophthalmology, critical care, medication management and sharps disposal products.
