The BD T&T™ Time & Temperature System will provide a solution to our customers allowing for the validation and monitoring of transport conditions for diagnostic specimens to:

• Confirm that specimens were transported within specified limits thereby preserving a quality environment
• Meet increasing specimen delivery/shipping needs
• Comply with accreditation requirements
• Achieve operational efficiencies
• Prevent health care worker exposure to blood borne pathogens
• Capture real time data and maintain records of specimen transport

Specimen Transport (BD T&T™ Time & Temperature System)

The BD T&T™ Time & Temperature System is composed of:

• System Manager
• Device downloads/initiates transport parameters onto the Tempstick®
• Contains the BD T&T™ Time & Temperature System package (CD format)
  • Ability to customize Mission Starter and System Manager configurations (delivery profiles, acceptability ranges, addresses identification, etc.);

  • Mission data elaboration (chart/table) and archiving;

  • Exporting of data into Excel spreadsheet

• USB Cable
• Can be used also as a reader for immediate verification of transport conditions


• Tempstick®
• A datalogger sensor which captures time and temperature of the specimen transport event
• Set from parameters (profile) downloaded from the System Manager or Mission Starter
• Mission Starter
• Used to transcript transport profiles onto the Tempstick®
