Franklin Lakes, NJ (January 26, 1998) -- Becton Dickinson and Company has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Tru-Fit Marketing Corporation, a Massachusetts-based sports medicine company with an international reputation for producing quality, innovative products distributed primarily in the sporting goods channel. Upon completion of the acquisition, Tru-Fit will join Becton Dickinson's Consumer Health Care business in providing product offerings representative of a leadership position in sports, therapeutic, and health care products.
