BD to Present at Banc of America Securities Investment Conference

(September 04, 2001) -- BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) (NYSE:BDX) announced today it will participate in the Banc of America Securities 31st Annual Investment Conference to be held at the Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco, California. The BD presentation will be made on September 10, 2001, at 2:30 p.m. (Pacific Time), and the Q&A breakout session will be at 4:30 p.m. (Pacific Time).
