A conference call with analysts regarding these results will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2003 at 8:30 a.m. (EST). Investors and the general public are invited to listen to a live webcast of the conference call at www.bd.com. A replay of the webcast will be available through the close of business on January 30, 2003.
