BD Increases Production Capacity for BD SafetyGlide™ Needles and Other Safety-Engineered Injection Devices

This increase is in response to the impending withdrawal of certain Covidien Magellan™ Safety Hypodermic Needles, which have been found to infringe a BD patent. By Court order, Covidien must cease manufacturing and selling these infringing products by December 17, 2008.
