BD recently made the decision to exit the Free Flow Electrophoresis (FFE) business. The Company concluded that the future sales outlook for the FFE business did not justify ongoing investment in the product platform. However, BD remains committed to its line of protein and peptide preservation tubes.

As a result of this decision, the Company will no longer sell and support its line of BD™ FFE research instruments. BD will work with existing customers to help them prepare for this change.
