Built on lateral flow technology, the BD Chek Strep A test features simplified workflow, easy-to-read results, convenient room temperature storage and rapid time-to-results in just 5 minutes. Most importantly, the test is highly accurate: 97.7% overall accuracy, 95.1% sensitivity and 99.0% specificity. In addition to the reagent stand provided in the kit, a creative separate workstation is also included in each kit. The reusable test tube workstation allows users to perform 5 tests at a time for the convenience of batch testing. The BD Chek Strep A test provides an all-inclusive package with 25 individually pouched test strips, kit swabs and sufficient liquid controls.
