Web Based Training Hardware Requirements

There are two ways to take web classes. You can: A) watch one Internet PC and listen/interact via speaker phone; or B) Also follow along using a separate PC with the software installed. We recommend you watch, listen and follow along (B) if you can.

Internet Computer Setup (one PC only)

Basic Requirements for Internet PC

  • Display resolution set to 1024 x 768
  • Internet Explorer 5.05 or greater
  • The browser should be Java, ActiveX and Java Script Enabled
  • The PC should have Windows 2000/XP or Windows Vista installed
  • Fast Internet connection (Cable/DSL T1 or higher) — we do not recommend dial-up connections

Basic Requirements for Product

  • Program (e.g., BD AICE™, BD Respond™ or BD RedBat™) installed
  • At least one login enabled (preferably with Administrator rights assigned in the program)
  • Access rights given to the provided demo or training database (e.g. 2008Demo or EHTrain2008)

Once you've signed up for the web-based training, you will receive an email from BD Diagnostics with instructions for joining the web and conference call.
