Intended Use:

Difco Supplement B with Reconstituting Fluid B is used for supplementing media to culture fastidious microorganisms, particularly Neisseria gonorrhoeae and Haemophilus influenzae.

Product Summary:

Difco Supplement B is a yeast concentrate for use in supplementing media for growth of microorganisms with exacting nutritional requirements. It is recommended for use in the preparation of chocolate agar described by Christensen and Schoenlein.¹

User Quality Control:

Add Difco Supplement B to an appropriate dehydratd medium (e.g., GC Agar Base) prepared according to label directions. Test samples of the complete medium for performance using stable, typical control organisms.
