Intended Use:

Difco™ Supplement VX with Reconstituting Fluid VX is used for supplementing media to culture fastidious microorganisms, particularly Neisseria gonorrhoeae and Haemophilus influenzae.

Product Summary:

Difco Supplement VX is a lyophilized concentrate. This supplement is recommended for enriching GC Agar media, Proteose No. 3 Agar and the selective agars for the isolation of pathogenic Nesseria.

User Quality Control:

Add Difco Supplement VX to an appropriate dehydrated medium (e.g., GC Agar Base) prepared according to label directions. Test samples of the complete medium for performance using stable, typical control organisms.
