BD GasPak EZ Container Systems
BD GasPak EZ Container Systems offer waterless, catalyst-free convenience for use in producing anaerobic, microaerophilic or C02
Available in two convenient sizes, GasPak EZ Incubation Containers are constructed of non-breakable, chemical resistant material designed to maintain a desired environment throughout incubation. The GasPak EZ Standard Incubation Container is designed to hold up to 18 Petri dishes, while the GasPak EZ Large Incubation Container is designed to hold up to 33 Petri dishes. Removable GasPak EZ Container Racks are available to secure Petri dishes and ease workflow.
GasPak EZ Container System Sachets are sold in packages of 20 sachets and are available for the generation of anaerobic, microaerophilic or C02
-enriched environments. The sachets are activated immediately upon opening of the outer foil packaging and do not require the addition of water or catalyst.
BD GasPak EZ Pouch Systems
BD GasPak EZ Pouch Systems offer the convenience of pouches integrated into a complete kit with everything you need to generate a pouch based anaerobic, microaerophilic or C02
-enriched environment. Anaerobic indicators are provided with the GasPak EZ Anaerobic Pouch System.
The BD GasPak EZ Pouch Systems feature one-step resealable pouches, which have been specially designed to maximize the preservation of the desired environment throughout incubation. The GasPak EZ Pouch System is also waterless and catalyst free.
The original BBL™ GasPak™ Family
The original BBL™ GasPak™ Plus and BBL CampyPak™ Plus systems are activated by the addition of water. Both products feature a safety shielded integral catalyst strip on each envelope and are placed inside a GasPak 100 or GasPak 150 Jar when used.
The BBL GasPak Plus envelope is designed to create an anaerobic atmosphere containing approximately 10% carbon dioxide. The BBL CampyPak Plus envelope is designed to create a microaerophilic environment containing 5 to 12% carbon dioxide and a residual atmosphere of 5 to 15% oxygen.
The original BBL GasPak C02
envelope is designed to create an optimal capnophilic (C02
-enriched) environment when activated with the addition of water and placed inside a GasPak 100 or GasPak 150 Jar.
BBL™ GasPak Pouch Systems
The GasPak Pouch is a self-contained system which, after the addition of water, will produce an anaerobic atmosphere containing approximately 10% C02
. This heat-free technology minimizes condensate, which provides excellent bacterial colony visualization. Each pouch will hold up to 3 standard Petri dishes. Anaerobic indicators are included with each GasPak Pouch.
The CampyPouch™ is a self-contained system which, after the addition of water, will produce a micro-aerophilic environment containing 5 to 12% oxygen. Each pouch will hold up to 3 Petri dishes and provides excellent colony visualization.
The GasPak C02
Pouch is a self-contained system which, after the addition of water, will produce a capnophilic (C02
-enriched) environment after the addition of water containing 3 to 13% carbon dioxide. Each pouch will hold up to 3 Petri dishes.
GasPak Pouch Sealing Bars provide an effective seal to the GasPak Pouch, CampyPouch and GasPak C02
Pouch products, eliminating the use of an electric heat-sealing device.
BBL™ GasPak Anaerobic and C02 Indicators
GasPak Disposable Anaerobic Indicator is a specially designed foil envelope containing a pad saturated with methylene blue solution. The pad changes from blue to colorless in the absence of oxygen.
GasPak Dry Disposable Anaerobic Indicator features a dry indicator pad, which turns from blue to colorless in the absence of oxygen.
Indicator provides a reliable method for assuring ideal C02
enriched environments are achieved.
