Use
BD Prepared Bottled Media are intended for the detection of micororganisms from pharmaceutical, food, environmental or water testing samples. They are ready for immediate use.

Types
BD Prepared Bottled Media are offered in a wide variety of bottle styles and fill volumes designed to meet customers' requirements:

• Sterile Pack Bottle: holds 100 mL fill volume with crimp cap and removable septum stopper. Autoclaved in double bags.
• Serum: holds up to 100 mL fill volume.
• Septum Screw Cap: with a black, phenolic screw cap with septum
• holds up to 100 mL fill volume.
• 500 mL fill volume.
• Screw Cap: same as Septum Screw Cap but without septum.
• Wide Mouth: holds 100 mL fill volume with lug cap.
• Screw Cap, Boston Round: holds up to 200 mL fill volume.

Storage
On receipt, store according to package directions.

Packaging
Most bottled media are available in packages of 10 bottles.
