Q: Does the MP READACRIT test hematocrit and urine?

Q: Does the unit still have the headcover (gullwing) shown in the picture on the manual?

A: No. This part was eliminated during a redesign in 1999. There is now a guard that holds the tubes in place.

Q: Can any READACRIT be repaired?

A: No. Only those units with a serial number of 3340001 or later can be swapped.

Q: What is the catalog number of the replacement brushes?

A: Please make note that READACRIT brush cat# 421450 is no longer the brush used for the units. Brush cat# 421474 is the brush currently used: the brush is larger, has larger caps, a groove cut into one side, and has a three-sided piece of metal attached to the brush wire and spring.
