The Service Engineering and Technology Transfer (SETT) department possesses a broad range of technical knowledge and service experience and functions as the liaison between the Service and Support Organization and BD's R&D, Engineering and Manufacturing groups. They perform a vital function in the exchange of platform technical design and service experience information between these groups enabling the Service Organization to deliver the best possible solutions and assistance to our customers. They facilitate the BD Diagnostic Systems service engineering training and knowledge transfer through the development of structured training courses and ongoing certification programs.
