Service Modules and Resource Tools (SMART) are service solutions that will be offered to our customers on a 'fee-for-service' basis.
For instance, if a customer has experienced a contamination episode in their laboratory, obviously, the first line of defense for this customer would be to contact Technical and Informatics Services (TAIS) for assistance in resolving the contamination. The ProbeTec™ Technical Specialists in this Department are highly skilled and trained to carry the customer through a well-defined and speedy pathway to get the situation under control.
Such measures will allow the customer to learn and disseminate the knowledge and skills gained to other members of the laboratory staff, enabling them to eventually be far more autonomous and self-sufficient. The following services constitute SMART solutions (Fee-for-Service):
