Real-Time PCR

The BD GeneOhm™ Cdiff, BD GeneOhm™ StaphSR, BD GeneOhm™ MRSA and BD GeneOhm™ StrepB Assays are validated to run on the Cepheid SmartCycler®. The assays use the BD GeneOhm™ proprietary and highly efficient sample preparation technology combined with real-time PCR to identify target nucleic acid sequences directly from specimens in one to two hours of total test procedure time.
