Role of Philanthropy

Philanthropy plays an important humanitarian and catalytic role in addressing global health challenges worldwide. To help strengthen healthcare systems in developing nations, BD provides millions of dollars in cash and in-kind donations each year to several leading global health organizations.

While these activities are separate and distinct from the Global Health Initiative at BD, philanthropy is nonetheless an important part of BDs corporate culture.
