BD Autoguard™ Shielding Technology

BD Autoguard™ Push-button Shielding Technology

The BD Autoguard shielding technology is proven to safeguard healthcare workers from accidental needlestick injuries.

The unique, activation button mechanism holds the needle assembly in the forward position until the user activates the device. Pressing the button releases the spring and allows the needle and flash chamber to retract quickly into the safety barrel.
