The BD Integra™ Syringe is available in a 1 mL and 3 mL Syringe size.  Both the BD Integra™ 1 mL and 3 mL Syringes were designed with a clinician’s needs in mind.  

Low Waste Space*

The BD Integra™ 1 mL TB and Insulin Syringes have permanently attached needles enabling the BD Integra™  1 mL Syringe to achieve extremely low waste space.   

Compare a BD Integra™ 1 mL 25 G x 5/8” Syringe (with .004 mL of waste space volume that has 94% less waste space volume) than a BD™ Conventional 1ml syringe with a detachable needle (.07 mL).

Micro-Dosing*

The BD Integra™ 1 mL Syringe uses BD “Micro-Dosing” Technology.  

Micro dosing allows the clinician to easily move the plunger rod within the syringe barrel to measure a precise amount of medication.  This is very important when aspirating small, exact volumes of medication.   

Micro-dosing is possible because of the plunger rod design.  The stopper is molded onto the plunger rod, allowing the two components to move as one solid unit.  The ridges on the side of the thumb-press help the clinician control the plunger rod movement.
