Custom Fermentation Services

With more than 10 years of fermentation experience, Lee Laboratories offers bacterial fermentations up to 100 L. Our fermentation facility is designed to work with pathogenic organisms up to Biosafety Level II. Lee Laboratories staff are highly skilled and have experience with a variety of fermentation and downstream processes.

We are pleased to provide our customers the following services:

• Downstream purification services, including concentration of cell mass, culture filtrate and protein isolation and characterization
• Assistance in media development and optimization
• Products, depending on technical consideration, can be provided as a liquid, frozen, lyophilized or as a paste
• Fermentation runs are usually started within 48 hours upon receipt of culture and media components
