Diabetes Statistics in Brazil

BD's Diabetes Collaborations and Partnerships

  • Dia-a-Dia
    A series of day-long workshops where patients with diabetes learn about all aspects of disease management, from diet, exercise and blood glucose monitoring to proper insulin injection. BD associates train patients and conduct these workshops to educate patients on diabetes care.

  • National Diabetes Association
    BD associates hold monthly meetings with children who have diabetes to review insulin injection techniques, provide encouragement and answer questions about general diabetes care. BD donates injection supplies and products as well as educational material to help support healthy lifestyles.

BD Supports World Diabetes Day in Brazil

  • BD supports the National Diabetes Federation and the Juvenile Diabetes Association, members of the International Diabetes Federation with product donations, educational materials and volunteers for World Diabetes Day events across the country.
