The BD Trusted Partners global communications campaign was launched in early 2003. The campaign highlights the significant contributions BD has been making for more than 100 years in pursuit of its corporate purpose of “helping all people live healthy lives.”
The series of advertisements brings attention to urgent global healthcare needs, as well as to the BD commitment to save lives throughout the world through its partnerships with prominent philanthropic, government, and nongovernmental organizations.
Through philanthropy, sustainable business efforts, and the development of pioneering technologies, BD is helping to support the development of an effective AIDS vaccine, reduce the deadly impact of TB in developing countries, eliminate deadly diseases (including measles and maternal and neonatal tetanus), fight the spread of diabetes, and provide relief in the wake of natural and manmade disasters.
The Trusted Partners message has reached millions of people around the world through ad placements in more than 20 publications, won prestigious advertising industry awards, and received public acknowledgment and appreciation from its partner organizations.
Because of the strong investment BD has made in a number of global health initiatives, new messages will continue to be released as the Trusted Partners campaign unfolds.
