BD Microtainer® Blood Collection Tubes were designed for ease of use, and help to ensure that a quality capillary blood sample is collected. The wider-diameter BD Microtainer® Tube with BD Microgard™ Closure features an integrated collection scoop and improved mixing ability. This full array of microcollection tubes is available for haematology and chemistry applications, and is colour coded to match the array of evacuated BD Vacutainer® Blood Collection Tubes.  Extension tubes are available to enable compatibility with analyser racks. BD supplies a range of lancets for capillary collection; the BD Microtainer® Contact Activated Lancet is a safety engineered device offering comfort in use and a consistent pucture depth. The BD Microtainer® Quikheel™ lancet is designed for heelsticking in premature infants, newborns and babies.
