Admissions Criteria & Contact

BD Technologies welcomes the opportunity to evaluate life science and medical device start-ups for inclusion in the BioVenture Center. Ideal candidate companies typically meet the following criteria:

• Technology is aligned with BD R&D strategies
• Formal collaborative relationship with BD is established
• Strong IP position
• Pre-seed funding in place to allow personnel to conduct research upon entry.

We typically incubate companies emerging from the local universities of North Carolina, but are also open to incubator companies relocating to Research Triangle Park or US subsidiaries of foreign firms looking to establish a presence in Research Triangle Park.
