Overview

The Cell & Tissue Technology group builds on BD's core capabilities and market leadership in flow cytometry and cell analysis.  BD Technologies’ core technology is a unique high throughput systems biology platform that combines automation technologies with state-of-the-art bioinformatics. This technology platform enables efficient identification of methods and cell culture environments for producing cells for therapy, drug discovery and research.

Discovery Platform

To meet customers' requirement for defined culture environments (media, surfaces, and culture vessels) - as well as for more physiologically relevant cells - BD scientists have developed an advanced combinatorial screening program, the Discovery Platform.
