To develop next-generation in vitro diagnostics that address healthcare needs in the developed and the developing world

Overview

The Advanced Diagnostics group is developing novel biosensor detection systems and next-generation in vitro diagnostic instrument systems to enable rapid, high sensitivity detection of diseases in a variety of health care settings. In particular, we are developing technologies that enable better and faster detection of infectious diseases, such as tuberculosis and malaria, which most severely afflict those living in developing countries.
