Supplier Recognition Program

Overview

Inaugurated in 2010, the BD Supplier Recognition Program honors those suppliers who have made significant contributions to advancing or supporting key BD initiatives, products, processes, and customer satisfaction.

The Supplier Recognition program aligns with the overall Global Procurement strategy of achieving the best supply base to help BD drive innovation, continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Nomination and Selection Process

BD Global Procurement associates nominate qualified suppliers during the summer. The selection committee for the Supplier Recognition Awards includes senior management from BD’s Integrated Supply Chain, Global Procurement and Supplier Diversity Program along with subject matter experts in each award category.

Annual Awards Schedule

Awards are announced in the autumn.
