BD SMS 3600™ Molecular Stainer

The BD SMS 3600™ Molecular Stainer provides cytology labs with a convenient platform that can be used to automate manual staining procedures. It is compatible with any currently available reagents for ICC and IHC related applications.

The BD SMS 3600™ Molecular Stainer Delivers:
  		• Productivity: 36 slides/run with Stat access for “urgent” slide prioritization.
  		• Workflow flexibility: slides can be programmed identically or individually using any combination of primary antibody, detection system, staining times, reagent volumes and reagent delivery positions (3 per slide).
  		• Totally Open System: Reliably automates established manual immunostaining methods without any reagent or slide changes.
  		• Easy Programming: Proprietary software guides the user through programming procedure using easy to use menu-driven commands and incorporates extensive flexibility to accommodate programming needs.
  		• Comprehensive Document Management: Provides detailed report options with data export capability to conduct workload analysis, data review, and comprehensive QC record management.
  		• Hazardous Waste Switch Option: Safely manages toxic materials and may reduce the cost of disposal.

    Autostainer instrument includes:
  		• Removable slide racks
  		• Reagent racks to hold 40 reagents
  		• Reagent vials with caps
  		• Computer with 15” flat screen monitor
  		• Report printer
  		• Connecting power cables
  		• 4 waste containers with tubing

    Specifications:

  		• 36 slide capacity
  		• 40 vial regent capacity (13mL effective capacity per vial)
  		• Regent dispense volumes: 100µL, 150µL, 200µL, 400µL, 600µL
  		• Reagent probe volume capacity: 100µL min; 1.6mL max

    Automated Slide Staining Procedure
    The BD SMS 3600™ Molecular Stainer is an open automated slide staining system with a convenient platform that can be used to perform ICC and IHC procedures, including the BD ProEx™C ICC assays. The stainer runs up to 36 slides in a single run. The operator has the option of programming a number or protocols for different ICC and IHC procedures.
