BD SureDetect™ Slide Preparation Buffer 10X
|
| The BD SureDetect™ Slide Preparation Buffer is a
concentrated target retrieval solution for use with
immunocytochemical (ICC) or immunohistochemical
(IHC) procedures on glass-mounted cytology and
histology specimens. Specimens are incubated
in the diluted buffer to expose antigens prior to ICC
or IHC staining. The buffer is intended to work
on cytology specimens and formalin-fixed paraffin
embedded histology specimens. |

BD SureDetect™ Detection Reagents |
| The BD SureDetect™ Detection Reagents are used
to visualize immunocytochemical (ICC) or
immunohistochemical (IHC) staining on glass-mounted
cytology and histology specimens.
These high quality reagents are based upon a
horseradish-peroxidase (HRP) polymerization
technology that provides increased sensitivity
with minimal background staining. The BD SureDetect™ Detection Reagents include 6 reagents with sufficient volume to perform 75 tests. The reagents include: |

BD SureDetect™ Counterstains |
| The BD SureDetect™ Counterstains are pre-diluted ready-to-use Hematoxylin and Bluing Agents used in conjunction
with immunocytochemical (ICC) or immunohistochemical
(IHC) procedures to visualize the nuclei in cytological
preparations and tissue sections. The Bluing Agent shifts
the color of the Hematoxylin from a reddish purple to a
light blue. |

BD SureDetect™ SiHa Cell Controls |
| The SiHa Cell Control is used to verify
immunocytochemical (ICC) assays that require
an epithelial-based cell line as an assay control.
The control cells are used on slide-based
assays employing standard immunocytochemical
(ICC) detection chemistries (e.g., BD SureDetect™
detection reagents). |
