The BD Medical – Pharmaceutical Systems facility (also known as BD East) was constructed in 2002. The 230,000-square-foot facility is one of only four in the world to produce glass syringes, and employs approximately 750 associates.  

BD Medical -  Pharmaceutical Systems, working in partnership with the pharmaceutical industry, develops an array of drug delivery systems that are critical to the integrity and delivery of medicine.  Our products facilitate vaccination and therapy against disabling diseases.  We are dedicated to BD’s corporate purpose of “Helping all people live healthy lives.”
