The BD Vacutainer® Luer-Lok™ Access Device is designed for sterile, secure and safer specimen sampling from a foley catheter with a female luer connection. By using the BD Vacutainer® Luer-Lok™ Access Device, the sample can be transferred directly from the foley catheter to the tube. This means fewer steps, less sample manipulation, and reduced risk of contamination.
