In the late 1960s, BD launched the first-ever commercial system for environmental generation, eliminating the need for vacuum pumps, gas tanks, nanometers and release valves. Ever since, BD has introduced a series of continually innovative and high-performance environmental systems into this market. Our BD and BD BBL™ brand BD GasPak™ jars and container systems are for the generation of anaerobic, microaerophilic or C02-enriched atmospheres in containers or jars. And our BD GasPack pouch systems and BD Bio-Bag™ systems are for the generation of anaerobic, microaerophilic or C02-enriched atmospheres in pouches.

The BD Bio-Bag system includes environmental chambers that incorporate traditional gas-generation methods into a reliable pouch system.
