Using audits and EBM to implement change in PIV products, practice, policy and people webcast


All too often, implementing change into the healthcare environment —even those which have been proven to improve outcomes—is met with seemingly insurmountable obstacles. Understanding clinical practice guidelines and evidence based medicine is critical as clinicians overcome barriers and navigate change toward the advancement of patient care. This presentation will focus on effectuating change through a healthcare audit of current products, practice, policy and people and implementation strategies toward successful improvement of vascular access practice.


This activity, for one contact hour, is provided by BD Medical Clinical Resource Services Department, which is accredited as a provider of continuing education by the California Board of Registered Nursing, provider #CEP 13136. This certificate must be retained by the attendee for a period of four years.
