Features and Benefits

The Site~Rite Prevue+® Ultrasound System is a low cost, portable ultrasound device that is designed to assist in the placement of a peripheral vascular access device (VAD).

The use of ultrasound imaging for vascular access increases the placement success rate over traditional blind sticks for peripheral IV catheters.

There are many advantages to using the Site~Rite Prevue+® Ultrasound System:

  • Provides assessment of vasculature prior to attempted accessing
  • Provides real time guidance
  • Provides depth and size of vessel information
  • Provides ability to visualize the vasculature which can assist in the identification of bifurcations, valves and tortuous curves prior to access.

The Site-Rite Prevue+® Ultrasound System is designed to be an easily transportable device.

Basic Mode vs. IV Mode
Site~Rite Prevue+® Ultrasound System displays real-time images of the approximate location, size and depth of targeted peripheral vessels to help increase peripheral first-stick success rates over placement without ultrasound imaging.

Basic Mode which provides a clinician with an ultrasound image with depth and center mark indications.

IV Mode on the Site~Rite Prevue+® Ultrasound System displays the approximate length of the IV catheter that will be in the peripheral vessel upon final placement.

Pinpoint® Disposables

The Site~Rite Prevue+® and Pinpoint® Needle Guide were designed to give accurate guidance to a peripheral vessel.

Pinpoint® Gel Caps deliver a sterile, single-use disposable and eliminate the need for traditional ultrasound gel.

Eliminate the need for traditional ultrasound gel

The Pinpoint® Gel Caps reduce the clean-up required with conventional gel used for ultrasound procedures.

Pinpoint® Needle Guides are designed to be compatible with commonly-used 22 and 20 gauge peripheral IV catheters.

  • The Pinpoint® Shallow Guides are designed to target peripheral vessels at 0.25, 0.50, and 0.75 cm depths.
  • The Pinpoint® Deep Guides are designed to target peripheral vessels at 1.0, 1.25, and 1.50 cm depths.

The Pinpoint® Needle Guide places the needle directly under the ultrasound beam at a designated depth.

Needle guides help access peripheral vessels at varying depths using a fixed angle.
