BD Sterile Pack and Isolator Pack Plated Media are used to collect microbial samples in cleanrooms, isolators, and other critical environments. The complete product line includes a broad spectrum of formulations and formats including RODAC™ (Replicate Organism and Counting) and RODAC Secure Lid plates for personnel and surface sampling, settling plates for active and passive air sampling, as well as Finger Dab™ agar plates for sampling gloved hands.
BD Sterile Pack Plated Media are manufactured to the industry’s highest quality standards and are validated to a Sterility Assurance Level (SAL) of 10-5 in accordance with the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) guidelines. The gamma-irradiated, double-wrapped product features Tyvek™/polyethylene packaging minimizing the risk of false contamination, providing a fiber-free bacterial barrier, and allowing optimal moisture transfer.
BD Isolator Pack Plated Media are specially designed for isolator systems. In addition to the features above, the triple-wrap packaging protects media from vaporized hydrogen peroxide exposure.
