Safer Sleep LLC and BD Customer Communication for BD Pyxis 2022

BD and Safer Sleep LLC are committed to enhancing user experience and simplifying workflow with both BD range of automated dispensing cabinets (ADC) and SAFERsleep^® OR Anaesthetic Information Management Systems (AIMS).

With this in mind, we are pleased to announce the commencement of an integration project that enables integration of dispensed drugs from the BD Pyxis ™ Anaesthesia Station ES to automatically populate in the SAFERsleep^® OR AIMS. This interface capability will reduce the need for manual input, as well as enhancing documentation and reconciliation of drugs that were administered, wasted, or returned across both platforms.*

This development is designed to support greater efficiency, accuracy and completeness of information for anaesthetic record keeping. By integrating and combining best-in-class technologies for both ADC and AIMS, BD and Safer Sleep LLC offer enhanced capabilities that assist in improving medication safety and diversion prevention.*
