A compact, transparent needle-free connector with neutral displacement
The BD NeutraClear™ has a reverse split septum design with an internal blunt cannula. Due to its low weight, low priming volume and compact size, it is suitable for neonate and pediatric use, ensuring comfort for the baby and easy handling for healthcare workers.
Sealing ring
The sealing ring puts pressure on the split septum seal so it can form a physical microbial barrier.
Small size
The size, with low weight and low priming volume, makes it suitable for infants and children.
Orange colour
The orange colour acts as a visual indicator to reduce accidental removals.
Neutral displacement
Neutral displacement on disconnection may minimise catheter reflux leading to a lower number of catheter occlusions.
