Other Extension Sets

Extend your reach with various options

BD provides a range of extension sets in small bore and standard bore tubing sizes with varying priming volumes depending on the tubing size and length.

Size

The tubing size impacts priming volume and fluid flow:

Microbore (<2 mm) is recommended for low volume infusions; usually preferred in Pediatrics. Macrobore (>2 mm) can deliver large volume infusions in a short time; usually preferred in the Emergency Department and adult care areas.
