Primary and Secondary Administration Sets

The right device for the right application

Our BD IV sets are commonly used across hospitals, in a range of configurations, designed to help support your clinical needs in different care areas, including anesthesia, oncology, neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) and general infusion.

Options include basic gravity sets, sets with flow controller, sets with needle-free access, transfusion blood sets, burette sets and gravity sets with anti-run dry technology (ARD).

Size

The tubing size impacts priming volume and fluid flow:

Microbore (<2 mm) is recommended for low volume infusions; usually preferred in Pediatrics. Macrobore (>2 mm) can deliver large volume infusions in a short time; usually preferred in the Emergency Department and adult care areas.
