BD^® Oral / Enteral Syringe with BD UniVia^™ connection is intended to be used by healthcare professionals to measure and administer oral medication and enteral nutrition.

The plunger rod and labeling are colored orange to aid in distinguishing the BD^® Oral/Enteral Syringe from syringes with a luer (6%) taper. It is provided sterile in a single unit, disposable packaging.

3-Piece Design with Latex-Free Stopper

Latex-free stopper prevents leakage of medication around the plunger and acts as an indicator for measuring the syringe contents.

Non-luer compatible BD UniVia^™ connection designed to reduce the risk of tubing set misconnection

Incompatibility with conventional luer slip and luer lock connectors to help reduce misconnection errors

Amber coloured syringe protects light sensitive drugs

Oral syringes are used for the transport and administration of non-injectable liquid medication

Can be used in paediatric departments¹

Non-Sterile

Natural rubber latex, BPS or DEHP are not part of the material formulation
