A passive safety needle system fully shields the needle tip as it is withdrawn, providing protection from needlestick injury (NSI).
Instaflash™ Needle Technology† incorporates a notched needle, which is designed to improve insertion success and reduce painful hit-and-miss insertions.
Softens in the vein to enable longer dwell times,1* minimising restarts, and has clinically demonstrated to reduce the risk of phlebitis by up to 69% compared to fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP)2 and up to 32% compared to polyurethane (PUR).3
