BD Emerald™ PRO Syringe
Disposable Syringe with Passive Reuse Prevention
BD Emerald™ PRO was developed specifically for drug delivery, which account for the vast majority of syringe injections.
The design is similar to a conventional syringe, yet features a strong lock that meets the International standard and automatically renders the syringe unusable after an injection has been completed.
Passive Reuse Prevention feature:
To automatically disable the syringe after procedure is completed
Green stopper and bold scale marking:
To aid in setting an accurate dose
Breakable plunger rod:
To deter reuse after syringe is locked for added security
Textured retaining ring:
To reduce slippage during administration
Robust retaining ring:
To help prevent accidental plunger rod pullout
Flange size and shape:
To provide stability and comfort during use
Visual indicator:
To identify it as a Reuse Prevention Syringe (RUP)
Prepacked detached needle
Sterile, single-use
Natural Rubber Latex is not part of the material formulation
