BD® Flu+ Syringe with cannula

Injection device with low dead-volume

The BD® Flu+ Syringe has been developed with minimal waste space in order to maximize vaccine dose availability and increase the number of people who can be vaccinated.

Low dead-volume syringes are engineered to increase the available amount of vaccine by minimizing vaccine waste.1,2

Vaccine can only be administered with appropriate medical devices or prefilled delivery systems.3

Low dead-volume syringes can play an essential role in expanding available vaccine doses during a pandemic.

The total cost of injection devices with low dead-volume is more than offset by the savings associated with lower vaccine waste.
