Overview

The BD Vacutainer® Blood Transfer Device is a sterile, single use device intended to be used by healthcare professionals for the safe, closed system, needleless transfer of venous blood from a BD Luer-Lok tip syringe into evacuated blood collection tube(s) or blood culture bottle(s) for invitro diagnostic testing.

The BD Vacutainer® Blood Transfer Device does not impact sample quality and is designed to minimise the potential risk of transfer-related needlestick injuries by eliminating the use of a syringe needle during blood transfer.
