Overview

The BD Veritor™ Plus System is a handheld device that enables testing for SARS-CoV-2, Flu A+B, Group A Strep, and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) assays. One-button functionality and workflow flexibility allow the healthcare team to confidently use the device. In addition, the system’s fast and accurate results may help improve the patient experience. The BD Veritor™ Plus System streamlines the point-of-care testing experience.

Train your staff with ease

    • Kits can be used by healthcare professionals or trained users to confidently test for SARS-CoV-2, Flu A+B, Group A Strep, and RSV
    • Delivers easy-to-read results, using a digital display
    • Simplifies staff training with the BD Veritor™ Plus eLearning platform, featuring assay training modules, how-to videos, dashboards, and more
    • Minimises training time and facilitates operation with intuitive sample processing

    Enable workflow flexibility

      • For batching, use Analyze Now mode. Incubate specimen for time recommended for each assay. Then insert test device into analyser. Result is displayed within seconds
      • For multitasking, use Walk Away mode. Add specimen to test device and insert into analyser for automatic incubation and analysis
      • Reduces potential manual errors by streamlining sample processing

      Deliver fast, accurate test results

        • Proven performance for Flu A+B detection vs PCR 1,2
        • Advanced particle technology enhances sensitivity by producing highly stable, modified colloidal metal particles3
        • Adaptive read technology to improve specificity by compensating for background and nonspecific binding
        • Timely results may help improve patient experience:
          • SARS-CoV-2 result in 15 minutes; Flu A+B or RSV result in less than 11 minutes; Group A Strep result in less than 6 minutes

          • BD Veritor™ InfoScan module facilitates reliable quality control and traceability through customisable documentation functionality (user ID, specimen ID and test kit/lot)
          • May reduce risk of reporting errors by minimising manual transcription and leveraging data storage/download and printing capabilities via USB
