Automated temperature-sensitive dispensing system
Pyxis™ Remote Manager from BD is a software module and electronic locking latch system that automates dispensing for temperature-sensitive medications, fluids, tissues and implants. It provides your staff controlled point-of-use access, as well as the ability to electronically track and archive data and reports necessary for inventory management, compliance and (where required) patient billing.
- Integrates with the Pyxis ProcedureStation™ system, Pyxis SpecialtyStation™ system and Pyxis OncologyStation™ system.
- Help increase patient safety by reducing the chance of adverse drug events from administering medications or implanting tissues exposed to inappropriate temperatures.
- Help control costs associated with medication or tissue/implant losses due to exposure to inappropriate temperatures.
