Secure cath lab inventory management
The Pyxis™ CathRack system from BD manages supplies used in cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology labs, such as pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD), stents, vascular grafts, catheters and guide wires. This compact and high-density storage device helps increase security, accountability and standardization of your supply use. Your staff can expect easy access to supplies, a reduction of inventory outages, improved case costing and, if required, the ability to charge and supply usage in real-time directly to the patient billing system. Reporting capabilities offer information regarding patients, physicians, procedures, supply usage trends, supply par levels and replenishment.
- Provides a flexible platform that can be augmented with open access offerings to enable a blend of secure and open inventory management.
- Interfaces with a hospital's registry, materials management system and, if required, patient billing, for real-time, automatic and accurate data at the point of use.
- Helps ensure visibility to supply chain performance by increasing data accuracy and providing optional analytic tools.
