De BD StatLock™ Pro-fixatiepleister is ontworpen om een verwijderbare comfortabele strip te bieden, waarbij geen alcohol nodig is om te verwijderen. 

Deze fixatiepleister zorgt ervoor dat de inbrenghoek van de katheter wordt behouden om knikken van de lijn te voorkomen. 

Als laatste wordt deze ook gebruikt als een  antimicrobiële ring.
