Deepak Malhotra serves as Finance Director for India and South Asia for BD (Becton, Dickinson, and Company), a leading global medical technology company headquartered in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey.
In his current role, since 2022 Deepak is responsible for the management of BD South Asia’s financial operations, and leadership of its transaction center. Prior to this role, he was with BD Singapore in the Greater Asia Regional Finance role supporting the Medical Segment business.
Deepak’s more than 20+ years of experience includes country, regional, and worldwide roles. He has been with BD since 2008 and in these 14 years with the organization, he has been instrumental in setting up the finance business partnership model, supporting pricing initiatives, finance transformation, and, R&D Projects amongst others. Prior to joining BD, his experience includes diverse roles in the banking, telecommunications, and technology sectors across India, Southeast Asian, and European geographies.
Deepak is a Chartered Accountant with, MBA (Finance) and earned his degree in accounting from Delhi University.
He is passionate about creating capabilities and enabling associates to grow. In his free time, Deepak actively participates in sports, especially tennis where he has an ITF Seniors Ranking of 1483 (Singles) and 656 (Doubles).
